Monday December 3rd and Tuesday December 4th The Doubletree Hotel, City Center Spokane, WA

SHORT COURSE #1 SAFETY AND HEALTH AUDITING This course will be presented in the morning of Monday December 3. This course addresses a dynamic resource for managers, safety and health auditing. Attendees will learn how to design an audit process that provides the following:

Positive reinforcement for the things done well Verification of compliance with regulatory standards and company policy Identification of opportunities for improving effectiveness Short Course #2 TRAINING FOR PART 62, HEARING CONSERVATION This course will be presented Monday December 3 in the afternoon. MSHA Part 46 requires 8 hours of annual refresher training. This module meets the training requirements for MSHA Part 62 and a portion of the requirements for MSHA Part 46 Refresher Training.

Short Course #3 SILICA UPDATE This course will be presented Tuesday December 4th in the morning. This presentation will give you an update on the latest information on a current topic of concern, silica exposures in mining and the proposed regulation. Come to this session to hear the status of proposed regulations and to get a better background on what this issue is and how you may be affected.
